Today the youth worked on an Eagle Ranch camp project called the Homestead. In an effort to preserve the heritage of the area, the camp is building a retreat cabin (using all hand labor) which will provide a place for people to experience traditional southern Appalachian living. Later in the day the youth visited a copper mining museum, located in Copper Hill at the Burra Burra mine site.
